Here is a question that was asked to Abu 'Umar Farooq (rahimahullah Ta'ala) during one of his classes teaching the Explanation of Usool us-Sunnah and Masjid Abdul Aziz bin Baaz, London was asked the following question:
What is the worst deed, a major sin or a minor shirk?

He (rahimahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
