A very insightful lecture by our Ustadh Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on showing that the women of the salaf were educated in the affairs of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and not only were they educated but they also were involved in disseminating this knowledge to the women.

May Allah make our women from amongst those that learn, understanding, implement and teach that which is pleasing to Allah (subhanahu wa Ta'ala), Aameen.

This is a lecture that is entirely in the language of Arabic, delivered by Shaykh Saalih ibn 'Abdul-'Aziz Aala Ash-Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  The Arabic title of the lecture is: "الوصايا الجليـة للاستفادة من الدروس العلمية تأليف معالي الشيخ صالح بن عبد العزيز آل الشيخ" 

The title can be translated as: "Clear Advice for Benefitting from Islamic Lectures, Seminars & Conferences collected by Shaykh Saalih ibn 'Abdul-'Aziz Aala Ash-Shaykh" for the published booklet that was translated by our brother & ustadh Abu Ismaa'eel Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

I will be posting some extracted benefits from the lecture titled: Dream Interpretation by my brother & Ustadh Abu Khadeejah (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) which was delivered in the form of a khutbah on the 30th January 2015 at Masjid as-Salafi, Birmingham.  

Our Ustadh has approved of the posting of these extracted clips, walhamdulillah. 

Here is the first of those clips:

O Shaykh, is it permissible for a man who has divorced his wife, with the first or the second divorce such that she is in a state of lesser removal al-baynuna as-sughra or the lesser the removal which is lesser due to the first and second divorce, does he have the right in the Islamic law that he may have sexual intercourse during the waiting period i.e. during the Iddah period, before the divorce, comes to its end i.e. the lesser divorce? During the Iddah period is permissible for a man to have intercourse with his wife during this period?

The following question was asked to Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  The recording has been cleaned up to reduce to improve its overall quality and is posted below along with its translation by our brother Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):

Question: May Allah treat you well, the questioner says “I want to go to Mecca for Umrah but I am afraid due to the Coronavirus. Is this a weakness in faith or taking the necessary means? 

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan: This is weakness in reliance upon Allah the Exalted. Place your trust in Allah and go for Umrah, pray in Masjid al-Haraam and do not fear anything except Allah the Exalted. If a prohibition is issued preventing entering a country based upon a report from doctors then there is nothing wrong (with following this report). The Prophet may Allah exalt his rank said about the plague:

"If you hear of an outbreak of plague in a land, do not enter it; but if the plague breaks out in a place while you are in it, do not leave that place." (Sahih al-Bukhari 5728)

Thus if a probation is issued based upon correct knowledge, then do not go. But as long as the doors are open, and the people are performing Umrah and visiting the Prophet’s Masjid, then do not have this severe fear.

Noble Shaykh what is the ruling regarding prayer behind the barelwis? 

Knowing that I am in Britain and I have no other Mosque near to where I live in my city. So, what should I do? Is it allowed for me to pray in the house, in this condition or not?

Shaykh Muqbil (rahimahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:

We ask Allah to enable us to benefit from that which we hear, Aameen.
