Here is a benefit from a khutbah delivered by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Germantown Masjid and posted upon their official SoundCloud account. It was officially released on the 15th of May, 2025. As such, I am assuming it was delivered the previous Jumu'ah, 9th of May, 2025.
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) summarises from Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah Ta'ala), seven reasons why love of the dunya is the root cause of all sin & disobedience.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
