Recently, I extracted many benefit from a khutbah delivered by Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis ((hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: The Virtues of the Day of Jumu’ah.
From one of those benefits, I have extracted a particular part that deals with the reward that is specific to the tremendous reward of walking to the masjid on the day of Jumu'ah.
If many of us implemented this hadith on this blessed day, it would remove a lot of the congestion that is caused around the masaajid on this day.
I remember that Abu Talhah Dawood Burbank (rahimahumullah Ta'ala) and his famly used to walk from their home, on the other side of the city, to the Salafi Masjid on this blessed day.
