ecently a one day seminar was organised by Islamic Dawah NYC, with many of our well-known du'at from the US in attendance. The title of the seminar was: The Levels of Striving Against the Soul. This is what Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) said, when he saw someone, possibly making a video of him (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).
The benefit highlights the fact that not every approves of making videos for the purpose of da'wah.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
