Hearing Their Side - Not Going Back to Refuted Individuals - Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis

Here is a very important benefit from Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), in which, he responds to the argument brought by many people of ignorance, that you should listen to both sides in an affair in an issue where someone has been  refuted, before making a judgement.

He (hafidhahullalh Ta'ala) was asked the following question:

Is it from the way of the Salaf, that when a student opposes the Manhaj of the Salaf, or the truth and the Haqq and he's warned against by the Mashaykh or those students who are well-known to the Mashaykh and the Ulema.  That a layman goes back and checks the errors with the one who has erred or the one who was refuted.  Is this from the Manhaj of the Salaf?
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
