Hearts Blinded by Partisanship Cannot Accept the Quran's Rulings - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

In this benefit Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) taken from lecture number 43 titled: The Prohibition of Unjust Suspicion from the series: 130 Hadeeth on Manners, to address a pressing issue that was and still is troubling many people who have stumbled about in recent fitnahs.

According to the Book of Allah, the one who accuses a Muslim of fornication or adultery is an untrustworthy disobedient person.

Some people refuse this ruling and defend such a slanderer in his oppression, thinking their revered figure to be above the Quran and untouchable.

This is nothing but the very ghuluw (fanaticism) that every Muslim must be on guard against.
Abu Hurairah (radiAllahu anhu) narrated that The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
