At the end of the Masjid Rahmah Annual Fall Conference 2025, a lecture titled: Strengthening Faith in the Family was delivered by Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala). At the end of this lecture he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) took some questions.
The following was one of the questions asked before the conference ended.
How does one treat adoptive parents? Those that adopted him as in infant and raised him throughout adulthood?
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following response:

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
