During a seminar titled: Preparing for Ramadan, that took place at Masjid Rahmah a few year ago, Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) held a Q&A session that I titled: Questions Related to Ramadan.
One of those extracted questions is the following:
As Muslims we know that Shaytan is locked-down for the month of Ramadaan, but does that mean that he won't be allowed to whisper. or try to throw Muslims off?
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
