Is Advice Only Given when Asked for? - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

Here is a benefit from a lecture titled: 2- Rights of Islamic Brotherhood- Advising, Praying for Mercy, and Visiting the Sick by Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) from the series titled: 130 Hadeeth on Manners.

Someone asked the following question:

The wording of the hadeeth is: "If he asks for your advice, then advise him."  So, now he asks, a situation comes up where you see someone heading for harm and he hasn't asked your advice,"

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) responded with the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim
