The following question has been extracted from the end of lecture 5 of the Upholding Marriage Series and the series was posted at the following link: Beneficial Q&A on Family Issues.
During the Q&A session, Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was asked the following question:
Did the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) ever have a divorce? Salafis are alway accused (of) marriage and divorce, marriage and divorce! Is there any sunnah for this? Is there any evidence for this?
He (hafidhahullalh Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
