In 2003, when Masjid as-Salafi was opened in Birmingham, the UK, Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered a series of highly beneficial lectures. He read from ‘المسجد في الإسلام أحكامه آدابه بدعه’ of Khair Udīn Wanalī. He also brings many benefits from other works of the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah.
A genuinely beneficial series of lectures discussing the rulings of the Masjid, mannerisms related to it and acts of innovation that are now widespread within the masaajid.
The series was titled: The Rulings of the Masjid in Islam,
In this benefit, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentions a fact that not every hadeeth in ad-Da’eefah of Shaykh al-Albaanee (rahimahullah Ta'ala) is
Da’eef and brings an example.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
