Not Reading Surah al-Kahf on Jumu'ah, Until I Know its Reason - Shaykh Saleh al-Luhaydaan

Here is a question that was asked to Shaykh Saleh al-Luhaydaan (rahimahullah Ta'ala) during his explanation of Kitab at-Tawheed, a series of lectures that was delivered specifically for the Westerners living in Riyadh.  The lecture that contained this question was delivered on the 10th of Muharram 1434.

The question asked, was as follows:

I have heard that there is no narration linking back to the prophet (Alayhis-Salatu wa Salam) about reciting Surat al-Kahf on Fridays, so why should we practice this?
