Here is a benefit that has been extracted from a khutbah delivered on the 4th of August 2023 by Abu Idrees Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid as-Salafi, Birmigham titled: And When I Am Ill, It Is He Who Cures Me.
He brings the statement of Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee (rahimahullah Ta'ala) regarding switching off life support machines. A serious warning against being hasty in giving permission to switch off the life support machines.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
