The Best of You are the Best in Repaying Your Debts - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

We need to borrow some money, so someone generously offers to lend us some.  We borrow the money, but do we wait for the deadline before returning it?  Why do you wait for the deadline?  Why don't you return what you borrowed before its due date?  Is it stated anywhere that even if you have the ability to return the debt that you have to wait for the deadline.  What about if before that time comes, your deadline (death) comes up?  Then what happens?

Other the other situation, you borrow some money and it is reaching the deadline, you turn to the lender and say that you will give him some of it now and some of it later.  He accepts your suggestion, but was he obligated to do so?  Are you, the person who has borrowed the money allowed to stipulate such conditions upon the lender or can he choose to agree or disagree with your demand for an extension on your approaching deadline?

Many people do not understand the severity of this matter or its related rulings.

Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gives an excellent reminder with regards to this affair that was originally posted on the Masjid Ahlul Quran Wal Hadeeth SoundCloud account.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
