Have you ever wondered about the wording of the dua that the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) used to make for the newly married couple?
- Arabic: بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
- Transliteration: Bārakallāhu laka, wa bāraka ʿalayka, wa jamaʿa baynakumā fī khayr.
- Translation: "May Allah bless you, and shower His blessings upon you, and join you together in goodness".
The benefit has been extracted from the khutbah titled: Lessons in Patience.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
