In it, he (rahimahullah Ta'ala) brings some narrations about what it means to recite the Qur'an and it was not just to see how much we could memorise from it, but rather it was about refection of its means, so that we understand it and receive admonition of it, by following its legislation.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
