The Smoker & His Coming to the Masjid to Pray - Shaykh Ibn Baaz - Raha Batts

The following benefit has been extracted from a clip by Raha Batts (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: The Harms of Cigarette Smoking

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (rahimahullah Ta'ala) was asked the following question:

"... An authentic narration has come prohibiting coming close to the masjid or approaching the masjid for one who has eaten garlic or onions. So, does the one who has a repugnant odour and smell upon him such as the smell of cigarettes enter into this ruling?

He (rahimahullah said the following in response:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
