Wanting Revenge for a Fallen Companion - Abu Idrees Muhammad

Here is a question that was addressed by Abu Idrees Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at the end of a lecture titled: Avoiding Trials by being Steadfast in the Religion.

The question is as follows: An individual had a companion that was killed and due to that he is always on edge, angry, wants to take revenge.  What's his advice?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following advice:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
