Wedding Traditions & Islam - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Here is an excellent lecture by the Muhaddith of Pakistan, Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

The Shaykh goes into a considerable amount of detail with regards to this matter and in relation to, or lack of it, in some cases, to Islam.

The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets.  What do they inherit? They inherit this religion and its understanding.

This is a lecture by a scholar whose scholarly virtues were recognised by the likes of Shaykh's Ibn Baazal-Albaaneeibn al-'Uthaymeen (rahimahumullah Ta'ala), Rabee' al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) as well as many others.

For a recording that is more than 20+ years old, the quality is excellent.  I have also slowed the audio down by 10% making it a lot easier to listen to, walhamdulillah

Free up some time and have a listen you will see (in shaa Allah) how Allah blesses some of his creation with a true insight of his religion.

Full-speed::
Slowed down by 10%:
Note: I personally found the second version a lot simpler to listen to and it has once again been re-edited.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

As salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh , many a times I use to see your post of this shaykh but most in Urdu are there any of his lecture or books translated into English will love to benefit in Shaa Allah
As salaamu alaykum, I am wondering if there is an English translation available of this lecture? If not, is there any that you know of (in English) on this same topic (for Desi wedding traditions - which I am assuming this one is about)? Have really been wanting/needing to learn about this. Jazaakumullaahu khairan for your efforts.
Wa Alaykum as-Salam. I don't believe there is any English translation of the lecture available. Unfortunately, I do not know of any English lectures on the topic of Desi (Asian) wedding traditions.
I understand, BaarakAllaahu feekum. If you or any other trustworthy translator could translate it into English one day, I think a lot of us Desis (who don't understand Urdu) would really find it helpful, bi-ithnillaah. Am really wanting to avoid anything contradictory to Islaam on such an important day (and on any day). If you or anyone else have any suggestions of English lectures that will help understand this topic (although it may not be specific for Desis/Asians), then that would be much appreciated. May Allaah guide us all to that which is correct.
