When the Leg of ‘Urwah b. Zubayr was Amputated - Abu Idrees Muhammad

Here is a beautiful reminder about the importance of being patient and having complete reliance in the decree of Allah (Azza wa Jall) from a khutbah delivered by Abu Idrees Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid as-Salafi, on the 4th of August 2023, that was titled: And When I Am Ill, It Is He Who Cures Me.

He (hafidhahullalh Ta'ala) narrates how the Sahabee, 'Urwah b. Zubayr (radiAllahu anhu) dealt with the issue of a part of his leg being amputed and the amount of patience he demonstrate at that testing time.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
