During the Last Sitting of The Explanation of Usool-us-Sunnah of Imam Ahmad several questions were asked to Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):
One of those questions, was the following:
Some duʿāt (callers to Islam) translate the fatwas of scholars and their statements into English and write their own names as translators. Sometimes mosques and centers publish translations without writing the translator’s name, but only the name of the mosque or center. Is this correct?
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer;
The translation will be released soon, in shaa Allah!
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
