Following the Sunnah - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

A man asked the Imām of Dār al-Hijrah (i.e. Madinah) Mālik Ibn Anas (رحمه الله): “From where should I take the Ihrām for pilgrimage?” Imām Mālik responded: “From wherever the Prophet (‎ﷺ‎‬) took the Ihrām.” The man repeated himself a few times until he said: “So what if I add to that [place of Ihrām an extra distance]?” Mālik said: “Don’t do that, for I fear for you fitnah.” The man said: “What is there in this of fitnah? It is only a matter of miles I am adding to the place of Ihrām?!” Mālik said: “Indeed Allāh, the Most-High, said: ‎’Let those beware, who oppose the command of the Messenger lest some fitnah befalls them or a painful punishment is inflicted upon them.’* [An-Noor: 63]

What I have done is slow the speed of this lecture down by 10%, this should make it considerably easier for the listeners to understand, in shaa Allah.

We will suffice with the fact, that a reminder truly benefits the believers.

Should Ahlus-Sunnah be Kind & Gentle with Ahlul-Bid’ah? - Abu 'Iyaad Amjad Rafiq

Here is a benefit from a series that has previously been extracted, titled: Manhaj Benefits Regarding Dawah. A lecture delivered by Abu 'Iyaad Amjad Rafiq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), based upon a lecture by Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

How we deal with the people of Sunnah is very different to how we deal with the people of Bid'ah.  Even amongst the people of Bid'ah, how we deal with different individuals may vary from person to person.

Listen to the advice of Shaykh Rabee' (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

A Person Losing their Deen Overnight - Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq

Here is a question that was addressed by Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during a Panel Q&A Session - Cardiff Conference 2016.

The question is as follows:

There is a question here about hadeeth. About the statement of Hudhayfah, about a person does not lose their deen overnight. Someone has asked a question related to the hadeeth, where it mentions that a believer will wake up in the morning as a believer and reach the evening as a disbeliever.  Or, reach the evening as a believer and reach the morning as a disbeliever. So, how would you reconcile between these two things?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
