This is a khutbah that was delivered on the 7th January 2022 by Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid Ahlul Quran wal Hadeeth.

The is the khutbah that was delivered by Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Masjid Ibn Baaz, South Philadelphia on the 8th of January 2022 and posted on their official Spreaker account.

The title is mine!  

It is a lecture that calls us to reflect on the reality that we will all have to face very soon (death) and our preparation for it.  

The reality is when you die your day of resurrection has begun, as Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) said.   

The angels will come to question you.  You will be in a state of terror when you realise that it is no longer a joking matter, no longer a khutbah, no longer mere classes but it has become a reality, what will your state be!

One of these immense benefits was from a profound statement of Imam Ibraheem an-Nakha'ee (rahimahullah Ta'ala) that is as relevant to us today as it was in the time that he said it.
