Ruling on Taking Photos of Yourself - AbdulHakeem Mitchell

Several questions were asked to AbdulHakeem Mitchell (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), at the end of a lecture titled: Advice to the Salafi,

One to them was: What is the ruling on taking photos of yourself?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following response.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

What is Happening to the Islam in Our Homes - Abu Humayd Saalim

Here is a benefit that has been extracted from the end of a khutbah delivered at Masjid As-Sunnah, Bradford (AKA alBaseerah) by Abu Humayd Saalim (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) and can be found on their official Mixlr account.

Unfortunately, the khutbah from where the benefit has been extracted has not been given a title.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) talks about the fact that Islam will enter every home.  At the end of it he mentions that for many of us, Islam had entered out homes even before we were born, but is it catching dust, i.e., are we neglecting it.
