The Rights of the Neighbours of the Masjid - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

We often hear, about the rights of the neighbours, the neighbours to our homes is what is most often understood, but what about the neighbours of the most important of places to the Muslims, the Masaajid [pl. of Masjid], the Houses of Allah.  In this clip Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), covers this very important issue during the 7th class in the explanation of the 15th hadeeth of an-Nawawee's 40 Hadeeth, originally recorded at al-Masjid al-Awwal in Pittsburgh (USA) on 1437.10.26.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim

Neighbourly Rights - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

From time-to-time, I come across a lecture that I would consider to be a gem.  It was delivered and missed by many only to disappear into one of the archives on a website and not to be seen (Allah knows best) for a very long time, except by a few individuals.

This is one such lecture.  It was delivered at Masjid Rahmah, Newark, NJ, by Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) as part of a weekend series titled: Prophetic Narrations on Manners

Rights of neighbours and their relative rights in a more practical daily manner.  Listen carefully, for he may be describing you and your behaviour.

The audio has been edited and cleaned up to improve its overall quality.

Eid becomes a Fashion Show, Fear Allah! - Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee

This benefit has been extracted from a khutbah delivered by Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during the final days of Ramadaan titled: Don't be a Part-Time Muslim.

In it, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gives some parting advice for the ending of Ramadaan and the coming of the day of Eid.

A small point that he mentions is about the approach of some of our sisters, in the way they dress when coming out to the musalla to attend the eid prayer.

A reminder for our sisters and their guardians, due to the responsibility they have been given over them by Allah.

Although the reminder is related to the time of Eid. It must be noted that the matter is applicable at all other times too.

"You Only Live Once” a Statement of Kufr - Abu Suhailah ‘Umar Quinn

How often do we hear this statement upon the tongues of the Muslims?  Do we realise what we are saying?  Think about those words!  If only you understand that which you are uttering then you would withhold and chain your tongue

Listen to what Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) says in a clip that has been extracted from the lecture titled: About that Life for you may realise the gravity of that which your tongue utters.

The Evils of Aiding Oppression - Hamzah Abdur-Razzaaq

Here is a khutbah that was delivered on the 25th of February 2022, at Masjid ibn Baaz, by Hamzah Abdur-Razzaaq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

It was based around the hollowing narration:
From ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd, may Allāh be pleased with him, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said:

The order was given for a slave from among Allāh’s slaves to be struck with a whip 100 times in his grave, so he kept asking [of] and calling [upon Allāh] until it became a single whipping. Thereafter, he was given a single whipping, upon which his grave filled over him with fire.

Then when [that] was lifted from him, he came to [his senses].

He said: “What did you whip me for?”

It was then said to him: “Indeed, you prayed one prayer without having been in a state of ritual purity, and you passed by someone being oppressed without coming to his aid.”

[Al-Ṭaḥāwī reported it in Mushkil Al-Āthār, 4/231. See Al-Silsilah Al-Ṣaḥīḥah by Al-Albānī (2774) where Al‐Albānī says its chain of narration is good. | Trans. Mikail ibn Mahboob Ariff]
It has been digitally edited before being posted below, walhamdulillah.
After the khutbah finished our Ustadh (jhafidhahullah Ta'ala) mentioned a few words of encouragement.  That piece of beneficial audio has been added below:

Islam Stamped Out Gang Culture Centuries Ago - Hasan as-Somali

Here is a benefit that has been extracted from a lecture titled: Killing on Germantown Avenue and the Community Moving Forward - Where do We Go from Here? that was delivered by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) after a shooting that took place on Germantown Avenue on 12th September 2021.

It shows that "gang culture" is nothing new and that Islam stamped it out centuries ago.  If it did it before, it can do it again.  Listen to how it happened.
