Advice Regarding the Excessive Use of Mobile Phones & Twitter - Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari

On the 19th of July, 2016, during the Fourth Dawrah Ilmiyyah that took place in the Maldives, Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari (hafihdahullah ta'ala) was asked a question about the excessive use of mobile phones and Twitter.  The advice, in the original audio, was translated into the local language.

What I have done is to extract the Arabic, edit it to improve its quality by removing a considerable amount of the background noise and now post is below, so that others can benefit from it too.

May Allah bless our Shaykh and all those involved in organising such beneficial events, Aameen.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Advice to the Sisters Regarding being Gentle - Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid

Here is a beautiful piece of advice by Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) a truly amazing reminder for us all.

It has been taken from a Q&A session after the weekly sisters ‘Bulūgh al-Marām’ class at Masjid as-Salafi on the 19th of December 2016

NOTE: Even though this was a specific piece of advice to our sisters, it doesn't in any way mean that what is mentioned in this audio, stops at the doorsteps of our sisters.

Brothers take note!  All too often it has been noticed that new brothers to the Masjid have felt alienated, on occasions without so much as being extended the greeting of salam.

So, let's not make it look like the brothers are totally fault-free from these affairs.  May Allah enable us all to rectify our behaviour in a timely manner, Aameen.

Those Whom Allah Loves - Hasan as-Somali

Many people claim that they love Allah, but when their love is put along the yardstick of measurement, it often falls short.  So, lets look at some of those that Allah loves and see if we fit in to any of those categories. If we are deficient, then lets make some adjustments to make ourselves from those individuals.

Here is a lecture that was delivered at Masjid Us Sunnah, Cranford by Hasan as-Somali (haifdhahullah Ta'ala).

It has been digitally edited before being posted below, walhamdiulillah.
