Erroneous Explanations of Allah’s Ascending of His Throne - Abdulilah Lahmami

The understanding of the Salaf with regards the ascension of Allah, is that He ascended His Throne in a manner befitting His Majesty.  The people of Innovation on the other hand, try to explain this away in order to deny this understanding of our Salaf.

In this benefit extracted from the lecture by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), titled: Is Allah Everywhere? He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brings some of those explanations from the followers of these misguided groups and sects.

To Prove a Book, Present it to Science - Dr Zakir Naik - Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq

On the 23rd of September 2022, whilst visiting Imam Darimi, Islamabad, Pakistan, a lecture titled: Atheism & Science was delivered by Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at the end of this lecture, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) to numerous questions.

The following is one of those questions that was addressed during that lecture.  

Dr Zakir Naik claimed that to know or prove a book is from Allah, present it to the undeniable criteria, which is science.

He (hafidhahallah Ta'ala) gave the following answer.

A Disbeliever is Better Than a Believer?! - Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee

Salah by Itself, is from the Greatest Means of Da'wah - Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn

Here is a benefit extracted from Class #9  in the series of lectures titled: The Three Fundamental Principles of Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that were delivered at Masjid al-Hidaayah.

In this very lecture, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), said:

"The Salah by itself is from the greatest of the means of Dawah from the time of the Prophet. There are so many reports from the Imams of the Salaf, people who accepted Islam watching the Salaf pray watching the scholars and the righteous pray publicly. While they were travelling, while they were being hosted sometimes in the homes of the scholars. There is the well known narration (I believe he was Abdul-Ghani Al-Maqdisi) who was being hosted by one of the governors of the lands of the Muslims and in that home, there were some disbelievers who were under the protection of the Muslim government and who were citizens of the Muslim land who worked in the government. When he stood up to pray in the night when he finished praying they accepted Islam. The scholars, they say how amazing is it! That these people had spent a significant amount of time amongst the Muslims and the prayer of the Muslims that they had seen that did not cause them to enter into Islam but when they saw a prayer performed correctly upon the 'Sunnah' of the Prophet [SE] they accepted Islam."

The 3 States of a Believer - Ibn-ul-Qayyim - Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam

Here is a benefit from the words of Ibn-al-Qayyim (rahimahullah Ta'ala) regarding the 3 states of a believer, that I received a short while ago from Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  

He (hafidahullah Ta'ala) said that he couldn't remember where the benefit had come from but file was dated 27th of July 2018.
