Here is a timely reminder for us all from the story of Ibrahim (Alayhis-Salam) about the importance of remembering that Allah, truly is the one that can aid us.   When did he mention this? At the time he was placed into the catapult that was going to launch him into the fire and Jibra'eel (Alayhis-Salam) came to him to ask him if he needed anything.

This benefit has been extracted from a series of lectures titled: Familiarizing Ourselves With Allah's Beautiful Names delivered by Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn at Masjid al-Hidaayah.  In particular, it has been extracted from lesson 4.

In lesson 7, he (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) talks about the name of Allah, al-Latif. This extracted benefit is one of the best examples of that.

Here is a lecture delivered by Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on the 8th of Jumaadaa al- Aakhirah 1441 (2nd of February 2020) for the dawah organisation that was known as Salafi Dawah India (SDI).  Indeed is a beautiful reminder for the people of Ahlus-Sunnah in these times of strangeness.

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.’” [Sunan Ibn Majah 3986: Sahih]

So, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) bases his lecture on this hadeeth.

How often do we hear that someone has repented from sin?  Yet, we continue to see them involved in that sinful act.  Was it sincere, after all, we did hear them make a verbal retraction.
