This is a khutbah delivered by Ustadh Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on the 23rd of August 2013 and posted on his website.

I have taken the audio, digitally remastered it to remove some of the background noise, and now present it here for you to benefit from, walhamdulillah.

During a conference what often occurs is that there may be a question and answers session and even multiple sessions.  People will listen to them during the conference and then they are lost to the various websites and forgotten over time.  So, what I try to do is to extract these questions and make them available in posts such as this one.

Whilst waiting for a tele-link with Shaykh Ubayd al-Jaabiree (hafidhahuallah Ta'ala) during the Winter Conference of 2018 some questions were taken by Ustadh Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  This sitting took place on the 26th of December.

Here is an extremely beneficial khutbah delivered by Ustadh Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that deals with the importance of compatibility in Creed (Aqeedah) being a prerequisite of marriage. 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine the date of the khutbah but it was uploaded more than 7 years ago. 

So, you are looking to get married? What are the questions that you should be asking?

Should they be questions like: "Can you take care of my needs?" "How much money do you have in your account?" "How much money do you earn?" "Can you take care of my bills?"

Should you be looking for how well he is known in the community?

Or, should you be asking about his Deen?  

When asking about his religion should it be superficial questions such as does he drink alcohol, or does he get high?

Or, should you be asking about his Aqeedah, his Salah, his understanding about the Branches of Tawheed.

Here is another audio we released titled: Salah as-Sawi’, Yasir Qadhi, the Reason for Their Misguided Deviance by Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that you could also listen to with regards to the affairs of this individual, barak Allahu feekum!

A gathering takes place and about 50 to 100 people attend in person.   It is a blessing for those that attended to be in such a gathering which the Angels attend, spreading the wings.

There is a recording available, but the quality is extremely poor (for some strange reason, people don't seem to give importance to this issue) so poor, that it puts people off from listening to it.

Take note of the following: The potential of this recording, if preserved and distributed correctly, by the permission of Allah, can reach hundreds if not thousands of people.  

We talk about leaving behind beneficial knowledge but if it doesn't reach the people and they can't benefit from it, then how beneficial is it, to you and your affairs of the Aakhirah?

As is often the case, recordings are initially of a very poor standard in such gatherings, as they are not planned and the correct equipment is not used or the individual tasked with making the recording has little or no knowledge of the correct procedure to achieve a high standard recording.

A lecture is delivered and a handful of individuals attend.  We think it was a success due to the 50 or 100 people who may have attended it.  Yes, this is the best option, that we attend the classes of knowledge in person and be a part of that blessed gathering but the reality is that people locally may not be able to attend for varying reasons and those that live outside the city or country can often be counted out of the equation.   

This is one of those recordings that was passed around various groups and then disappeared into oblivion.

I was having a clear-out of one of my hard drives and I came across it once more.  All I have is the date it was recorded and that is it.  I don't think it ever made it to a website (Allah knows best)!

It is a lecture by Shaykh Abdullah adh-Dhufayree (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), the location was Riyadh and the date was the 12th August 2019.

I had intended to post the following benefit individually over several postings that were given by Ustadh Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhullah Ta'ala) to some of the youth from Masjid us-Sunnah, Cranford which is in West London. The sitting took place during a day trip to Birmingham for a large group of youth, at Masjid As-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah, Aston. Instead, I have decided to post them all in a single post.

The audio has been titled: Advice to the Youth of Masjid us-Sunnah having been delivered on the 26th of December 2021.
