Advice to the One Given a Leadership Role - Shaykh Abdul-Khaliq Madi

About 3 weeks ago I posted a series of 15 questions that were asked to Shaykh Abdul-Khaliq Madi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) recently in a conference that took place as Markaz us-Sunnah, Alperton. Where.he (hafidhahullah Ta'la) taught:  The Beneficial Means to a Happy Life by Shaykh Abdur-Rahman al-Sa'di

Someone recently brought to my attention that the Shaykh (hafidhullah Ta'ala) had addressed several other questions during the series of lectures that he had delivered.

Here is the second of those questions:

I hope that this question meets you whilst being in the state of security and comfort and protection from Allah. Is there any advice that you'll give to an individual for example that from his work is that he has to take a lead at work to either lead a team or a particular division at work and does that enter into that which is blameworthy from seeking out leadership roles and wanting position?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer which was translated by Abu Ukkashah Abdul-Hakeem (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) :
Note: The previous question is linked below:

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

I Have Regret, Yet Fear Returning Back to My Previous Sins! - Shaykh Abdul-Khaliq Madi

Someone recently brought to my attention that the Shaykh (hafidhullah Ta'ala) had addressed several other questions during the series of lectures that he had delivered.

Here is one of those questions:

So, the questioner asked and said that, indeed I find inside of my heart something from sadness and general regret as to what I have embarked upon from sins, previously, but at the same time I feel inside of my heart that there is weakness and I fear that if I was granted the ability, that I would return back to those sins that I used to commit and is there a cure for me in this disregard?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer which was translated by Abu Ukkashah Abdul-Hakeem (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):
