The Status of the Scholars - Shaykh Arafat al-Muhammadi

Here is a tele-link that took place with Shaykh Arafat al-Muhammadi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) o n the 30th of November 2014.  On a subject matter is often neglected by us!  The status of the scholars.

How many of us have ever thought about this subject matter?  Or is it just something we remember when the news reaches us that one of them has passed away?

With the recent passing away of Shaykh Saalih ibn Muhammad al-Luhaydaan (rahimahullah Ta'ala), this subject comes back in our minds as we see many of the most senior from amongst them leave this world.

This tele-link that reminds us of their status and value.   It was translated by Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

The Evils of Speaking Ill of the Rulers - Abdulilah Lahmami

In these testing times that the Ummah is going through it is even more important that we be reminder about the issue of how we should be speaking or not speaking in regards to the Muslim rulers.

Here is the response to a question asked to Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) during a lecture which was delivered at Markaz Muaadh in Slough on the 1st of February 2024
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Comparing the US & Saudi Death Penalties - Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson

In this brief clip, Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) compares the death penalty, as applied by Islam's critics in the West, and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Shocking realities of electrocution, lethal injections, gas chambers, and even hangings should put American critics of Islamic law to absolute shame!

The original audio clip was posted on the official Spreaker account of al-Masjid al-Awwal. It was extracted from lecture in the series explaining the 40 Hadeeth of an-Nawawi.

The problem for me is that echo has been added to the clip, one of my pet peeves (something I really don't like).

I found the original lecture that the benefit had been extracted from and then re-extracted it once more,

After having edited it (without any form of echo) repost that benefit here, walhamdulillah.

It should be noted that America has now become even more advanced in the ways that they execute their convicted prisoners, by giving them nitrogen through a mask, that forces them to breath it in whilst depriving their bodies of oxygen.

Lowering the Gaze is Obligatory - Shaykh Rabee' al-Madkhalee - Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali

Here is another revival of the classics. An excellent reminder on the subject matter of lowering the gaze from the work of Shaykh Rabee' al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) by Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

Just as a point of benefit:  The subject is as relevant to the women as it is to the men.  Like the believing men, the believing women are obligated to lower their gaze.

This audio has been digitally remastered to remove a lot of the background noise.

Healthy, Sick & Dead Heart - Hasan as-Somali

This is an excellent lecture that was delivered during the Summer Seminar 2023 at Germantown Masjid by Hasan as-Somali  (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

It is broken down into 3 key types of heart, the healthy, sick and dead one.

It is an essential lecture that needs to be listened to and benefitted from, barak Allahu feek!

I will try to break it down into individual benefits soon, In shaa Allah!

Facing Problems Getting Married - Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid

Here is a benefit that was initially sent to me via Twitter a long time ago.   I only recently came across it once more.

The original audio was found on YouTube. As you can tell, the quality was extremely poor.

Here is the question that was asked to Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala):

Question: My father is not praying at all, and he takes only from the Quran, and he does not accept the hadith. I wish to get married, but he is against Salafiyyah and my choice of husband e.g. his race. I would not agree. What should I do in that regard as with regard to a wali?

Only so much can be done to improve an already poor quality audio.  Below, you will find what he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala advised regarding the above question:
