At the end of the second part of the lecture which I titled: Returning to the Fundamentals of the Religion, Shaykh Saalim (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) answered some questions that were put forward.
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was asked: In times of Fitna or trial, some people advise others to look at both sides of the situation and to be just, in doing so, by looking at the proofs so as not to blind-follow. Is this correct advice?
He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
