On the 25th September 2020, Ustadh Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered a lecture for our brothers at Lahore Dawah in Pakistan which is a non-profit apolitical venture & sister project of Masjid us Sunnah with a special connection to Lahore, as well as the wider ummah at large. Est. 2014.

The lecture was titled: Advice to Ahlus-Sunnah in Lahore to Remain Steadfast.

At the end of the lecture, numerous questions were addressed. One of these questions was about an Urdu caller who is not upon clarity with regard to the issue of Muhammad bin Haadee. Ustadh Abu Khadeejah chose not to mention this individual's name, yet it is clear that the question is referring to Murtaza bin Bakhsh (May Allah rectify his affairs).

Rather, he directed his answer towards all those people out there who may still be unclear and are still having some doubts with regards to what their stance should be in this matter.

[Q2]: The internet has changed rapidly in recent years. With the emergence of social media, people experience information overload. Salafīs are online and they face the same challenges. It seems that people today are constantly skimming tweets and Facebook postings whereas previously the Salafīs used to be busy with articles or PDFs or audios. Today, everyone seems to be in the know with social media, and there seems to be less free time and less seeking of real knowledge. What is your advice to the Salafī in this digital climate?

Here is a poignant & timely reminder that was delivered on the day of Arafah 1440 (2019) by Ustadh Abu Idrees Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) & was posted by Taqwa Travels on their Soundcloud account.  As you can imagine the original audio contains a lot of background noise.

At the end of the second part of the lecture which I titled: Returning to the Fundamentals of the Religion,  Shaykh Saalim Bamihriz (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) answered some questions that were put forward.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was asked: Is it allowed for the women to play the duff (open-ended drum) on the occasion of celebrating the Aqeeqah as a way of showing thanks to Allah?

1 - If an individual oppresses someone and they repent to Allah, is their repentance expiation?

6 - If someone left the land of disbelief and they migrated to Saudi Arabia and they got a residency permit (Iqama). Are they considered someone who has migrated?

7 - When is it obligatory for a boy to pray in the Masjid?
8 - How should the adhaan be called?
9 - Is it permissible to make public someone who has been oppressed, he publically announces who has oppressed him?

10 - Is it confirmed that Hajar was a slave-girl?
11 - Do the angels enter into the homes that have pictures in education books, and the likes?

12 - What is your advice for a man, that when he becomes upset with his wife he speaks to her in a manner which is not befitting.  He says to her:  You think you are better than others.  You think that you are the best, and the likes?
