Refusing to take Medical Advice from Doctors - Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid

At the end of Lesson 21 from the ongoing series titled: Beneficial Answers to Questions Regarding The Innovated Methodologies, some questions were asked to Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

One of those questions was the following:

I am a Muslim mother and I have a question regarding my son. My son has a health problem, may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'aala cure him, and we have sent him to a doctor but he doesn't listen to what the doctor has told him regarding his health.  He makes the excuse that Islam comes before the health of a person.  Should a Muslim take care of his health?
