The following question is one of many that have been extracted from a lecture that I found on the YouTube channel of Umm Uthmaan al-Majariyyah (may Allah have mercy upon her).

On the 29th of December 2023 the khutbah was delivered at Masjid Rahmah, Newark, NJ, by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

A wake-up call for us about not being heedless about the signs of Allah warning us about the fact that the Day of Reckoning is near.  Many of its major signs have already appeared with few remaining and we will have no excuse in front of our creator.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Here is an answer to a question (no. 76) that was recently posted on the official Telegram channel of Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala)

The question asked was:  I have a cat who is currently in heat and during this process, she appears to have much discomfort. Is this a form of zulm/oppression? Am I allowed to neuter her?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Here is an answer to a question (no. 75) that was recently posted on the official Telegram channel of Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala)

The question asked was: My 10 year old daughter asked me a question I did not really know the correct answer. She asked me: In one seating of a meal does she say bismillah after each bite and drink, or does she say it at the beginning of her meal and Alhamdulilah at the end? 

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:

Sometimes I come across a gem, when I least expect it.  Here is one such benefit from Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  

We often remember the ruling related to jumu'ah such as going early and the virtues and rewards of walking there. We also remember the rulings related to actually sitting in the khutbah.  The things that many people seem to forget is how we are supposed to behave after we leave the masjid.

Here is a brief reminder for us all.  May Allah enable us to benefit from it fully, Aameen.

The question asked was:  Our next door neighbours are disbelievers. When someone passes away from their family, is it permissible to say "sorry for your loss"?

Sometimes in life we need to face a reality that we have often hidden ourselves from and reality that is so true and fits many of our situations.

Sometimes, I extract a benefit to make a point.  Then, whilst listening to that benefit, I find another one that can be extracted from within it. Here is one such example. It has extracted from a longer benefit I released a short while ago titled: Beware of Deviant Channels  by Abu Muhammad al-Maghribee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala). 

The audio is funny but so true! He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gives a very real and explanation of the eloquence of the people of bid'ah (innovation).
