Abu Lahab was Destined for the Hellfire, 10 Years Before His Death - Rasheed Barbee

Here is a benefit from a lectures delivered by Rasheed Barbee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titied: Four Minor Signs, during the winter conference that took place at Germantown Masjid, titled: The Signs of the Hour: Major and Minor.

In this benefit he tells about Abu Lahab and how, in the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi was sallam), he was destined, along with his wife to the hellfite.

He (Abu Lahab) was the only person from among the enemies of Islam who have been condemned by name. In contrast, in Makkah as well as in Madinah, after the migration, many people were in no way less hostile to Islam and the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi was sallam) than Abu Lahab. The question is, what was the special trait of the character of this person, which became the basis of this condemnation by name?

Promoting Businesses Using Tabaraj & Music - Hasan as-Somali

Here is an answer to a question (no. 99) that was recently posted on the official Telegram channel of Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala)

The question asked was:  What is your advice to brothers and sisters from our communities who start a business - may Allah grant them success and goodness in this life and the next - but then start to promote and post tabaruj or music on their social media in order to "promote" it. Is it correct for us to NOT SUPPORT due to these open sins (if we advise ofcourse). Furthermore are we allowed to promote and support such businesses?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

The Virtues & Benefits of the Month of Ramadhaan - Shaykh Ibn Baaz - Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali

This was a lecture delivered by  Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta'ala) in October of 2004, the month before he passed away (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

From this lecture was born the lecture titled; "We Need a Ramadhaan", during the conference held at Masjid Rahmah.

What happened was that a speaker was scheduled to deliver a lecture during his slot, unfortunately, he was not able to attend.

While he (rahimahullah Ta'ala) and the brothers discussed the issue, they all looked at him (rahimahullah Ta'ala) and he (rahimullah Ta'ala) got the message and delivered that beautiful reminder that is now from his (rahimahullah Ta'ala) most famous audios.

This audio was his scheduled lecture during that conference.  The one he had thoroughly prepared for.

It has been digitally edited to remove a lot of the background noise, walhamdulilah.
