Returning to the Fundamentals of the Religion - Shaykh Saalim Bamihriz

On Jumu'ah of the 23rd of Rajab 1440 (corresponding with 29th March 2019), we held an istiraha for families in Jeddah and were honoured with the presence of Shaykh Saalim Bamihriz (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

The Shaykh is originally from Yemen but resides in the city of Riyadh.  It should be noted that the Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) is over 70 years old.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) arrived just after salatul-Asr and sat outside with the brothers in a very relaxed and informal manner discussing various aspects of the religion.

After praying Salatul-Maghrib, the Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave a kalimah to those present, that continued well after Salatul-Isha.

It should be noted that this kalimah was translated by our beloved brother Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) who was also at the istiraha that took place with Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

Here, are both parts of that sitting.

Advice to a Remorseful Sinning Youth from Imam Ibn Baaz - Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid

This lecture was recorded by myself on the 16th Rajab, 1429H (corresponding approximately with 19th July 2008) in the city of Bradford, if I remember correctly it was Bradford University, where the sitting took place.

It has only been previously been released in 2014, when it was posted out on http://learnaboutislam.co.uk/,

One day. I was going through my recordings, back then, on a mini-disc, and came across it.  Our brothers took it and later posted it on their Soundcloud account, where it can still be found today, walhamdulllah.

I have revised the title a little today & put it through the remastering process of cleaning up the quality & increasing its overall levels, walhamdulillah, and now present it here once again.

We ask Allah to benefit us from these great words of advice from our noble Shaykh Ibn Baaz (rahimahullah Ta’ala) and reward our brother Ustadh Abu Khadeejah (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) immensely for presenting them to us.

Struggling with Sins - Raha Batts

The Prophet Muhammad [ﷺ] said, “Indeed if a believer sins, a black spot covers his heart. If he repents, stops the sin, and seeks forgiveness for it, his heart becomes clean again. If he persists (instead of repenting), it increases until it covers his heart." Book Jami` at-Tirmidhi Vol. 5, Book 44, Hadith 3334 Grade: Hasan.

This a reminder that was delivered for our brothers and sisters at Markaz Anas bin Malik in Brisbane, Australia, who call to the Aqeedah and Manhaj of the Salaf.

It was delivered during an event titled: Da'wah Down Under Sidney Trip, which took place between the 23rd - 27th of December 2023 and was posted on their official Mixlr account,

It is a brief reminder around the topic of sins and how to attain salvation from them, by Raha Batts (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

This file has been re-edited to improve its overall quality.  Compared to a previously released version, walhamdulillah!
