May Allah have mercy upon the noble Shaykh (rahimahullah Ta'ala) and enter him into the highest place in al-Firdaws, Allahumma Aameen.
The audio is a knutbah delivered by Abul-'Abbaas ibn Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that took place at the First Muslim Masjid in Pittsburgh on the 25th of Ar-Rabee’ al-Awwal 1436 and was posted on his sons Abbaas's YouTube Channel.
It has been digitally remastered to improve its overall quality, walhamdulillah.
May Allah enable us to be sincere in all of our affairs, Aameen.
We have all heard this advice time and time again. Yet, often we won't even give it a second thought. 17 seconds, that's all it is! Don't just listen to the words that Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) narrates for Abul-'Aaliyah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) from the Tabi'een adivised. Rather, reflect and contemplate over the much deeper mean and the apply it to your own life to see how close or far your reality is from it.
It was extracted from lecture that I posted titled: Learn Your Religion.
Possibly the most famous narration from Abul-ʿAaliyah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) is the following, where he said:
"There are two blessings I have been blessed with, I know not which of them is greatest: that Allah guided me to Islam, and that he did not make me a Ḥaruri (from the Khawarij extremists)." [Abdur-Razzaq as-Ṣanʿani, al-Muṣannaf, Hadith 18667]
This the purpose for which the prophets and messengers were sent. To educate us about Allah and His right to be worshipped alone..
it has been digitally edited before being posted below, walhamdulillah.
5 - Mixing with People Upon Falsehood:
6 - Sins:
Here is a lecture that was delivered on the 31st of January 1992 by the Noble Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (may Allah have mercy upon him), dealing with this issue. He comprehensively covers this topic in his unique style of deliverance.
What I have done is slow the lecture down by about 10% of its actual speed to make it a little easier for the listeners.
