Here is a very short encouragement that has been extracted from a khutbah that was delivered on the 30th June 2023 at Markaz Mu'aadh, by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), titled: Allah is Ar-Raqeeb ٱلْرَّقِيبُ.

At Masjid al-Huda, Sheffield, Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) usually delivers the first part of the khutbah in Arabic followed by the second part in English.

What I have done is the extract the English part of the khutbah delivered on the 30th of June 2023 and posted it below, walhamdulillah.

An extremely important point: Know who Ahlus-Sunnah are, be with Them & Aid Them

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

I was listening to it & realised how beneficial & important it is to us in these challenging times that we are going through.

I have taken the audio & after downloading it as an MP3 & then put it through the digital remastering process to reduce the amount of echo that was found in the original audio file.

I have no doubt that many of you may never have heard or even heard this audio before.  Conferences take place, audios are uploaded & then after a few months are forgotten until such a time that someone comes along, maybe finds some benefits within them & then decides to try & revive them once again.

I sincerely advise my brothers & sisters to take out some time & listen to this highly insightful lecture, which is a real eye-opener.

Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) says: "The most important thing that a person can do is learn his religion and change his environment.

The ulema they say, there is a principle that the religion is built up, that you have to get of somethings before you can make proper changes and put other things in their place.  You have to get rid of some things, you have to get rid of some baggage.  You have to get rid of that which is standing between you and changing your life..." 

How many times have we tried to make changes, not being successful?  You're trying your utmost to change your life but keep falling back into the same or similar situations time and time again?

There is a lecture on this issue delivered by Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on this important subject matter that is often misunderstood by Muslims who continue to make excuses for its practice.  After listening to this lecture (with an open heart) you will, in shaa Allah see it impermissibility for Muslims to participate in such events.  So, how much worse is celebrating the birthday of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam).

We often hear, about the rights of the neighbours, the neighbours to our homes is what is most often understood, but what about the neighbours of the most important of places to the Muslims, the Masaajid [pl. of Masjid], the Houses of Allah.  In this clip Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), covers this very important issue during the 7th class in the explanation of the 15th hadeeth of an-Nawawee's 40 Hadeeth, originally recorded at al-Masjid al-Awwal in Pittsburgh (USA) on 1437.10.26.

From time-to-time, I come across a lecture that I would consider to be a gem.  It was delivered and missed by many only to disappear into one of the archives on a website and not to be seen (Allah knows best) for a very long time, except by a few individuals.

This is one such lecture.  It was delivered at Masjid Rahmah, Newark, NJ, by Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) as part of a weekend series titled: Prophetic Narrations on Manners.
