Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) continues to explain Ibnul Qayyim's book, that the light, which is knowledge (of the Deen of Allaah), and life, which is action (upon that knowledge), is the source of all good in the heart which gives it life, strength, and happiness.

And that it all goes back to two things, which are capacity and the ability to understand, conceptualize, and grasp things. And, secondly, the ability to want it, love it and intend it. Everything in the heart goes back to these 2 things.

A person's grasp of the truth and reality, and a person's desire of what is beneficial for him or what is harmful to him according to his situation.

This benefit by Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) was originally posted by Markaz Darimi on their official SoundCloud account.  The benefit was originally extracted from the lessons explaining al-Ha'iyyah of Ibn Abi Dawud after taraweeh in Ramadan 2023.

Here is a lecture delivered specifically for our sisters, several years by Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) in Philadelphia. 

It was based around a lecture that was delivered by in Urdu by Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah as-Sindhee ar-Rashidee (rahimahullah Ta'ala) in the Urdu language in the city of Karachi, in Pakistan, titled: The Modesty of the Hijab, an Advice to Women.

A very beneficial reminder for us all.

Listen to another knowledge-based lecture by an Aalim of the Sunnah, who was recognised and recommended by the likes of Shaykh al-Albaanee, Shaykh Ibn Baaz (rahimahumullah Ta'ala), and others, as someone who the people should invite to their countries and take benefit from. 

He (rahimahullah Ta'ala) addresses the women with regard to this very important issue of what is the true meaning and implementation of the (legislated) hijab in the religion of al-Islam.  

One thing that I do with many of the lectures of the Shaykh (rahimahullah Ta'ala) after removing background noise is to slow their playback speed down by about 10%, by doing this helps to considerably improve the overall listening experience.

What is the ruling ruling on saying Bismillāh in the toilet if you need to make wudū’?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
