Fitnah is like a Spark - Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn

One brother advises another about an affair.  The discussion is as follows:

Advisor: "Don't get involved akh, it doesn't concern you!  It's not worth it akh!  It could lead to an even bigger fitnah!"

Advised: "No bro, I know what I am doing.  I understand the issues very well.  I'll be able to handle it."

How many times have we heard this type argument being put forward with regards to debating regarding matters of deen and opening upon the doors of fitnah?

Then, when the spark is lit, the fitnah increases until they are eventually engulfed by it and lost to its flames.

Fitnah is like a spark.  A spark isn't such a big thing but what it can lead to is total destruction.

The following benefit has been extracted from the first lecture in the series titled: Sharh al-Sunnah of al-Imam al-Muzani at Masjid al-Hidaayah.

Listen to Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) as he narrates from a narration from Imam at-Tahawi (rahimahullah Ta'ala) about how he advised his strongest student, Imam al-Muzani (rahimahullah Ta'ala) with regards to this affair.

Low Self-Esteem Issue - Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq

We all have times when we lack confidence and do not feel good about ourselves.

Self-esteem is the opinion we have of ourselves.

But when low self-esteem becomes a long-term problem, it can have a harmful effect on our mental health and our day-to-day lives.

What is self-esteem?

When we have healthy self-esteem, we tend to feel positive about ourselves and about life in general. It makes us better able to deal with life's ups and downs.

When our self-esteem is low, we tend to see ourselves and our life in a more negative and critical light. We also feel less able to take on the challenges that life throws at us. [https://www.nhs.uk/]

Here is a benefit from a lecture delivered by Hamzah Abdur-Razzaq (hafidhahulllah Ta'ala) titled: Discovering Inner Strength & Beauty Through the Correct Creed.

From the many benefits it contains one of them discusses the issues of low self-esteem.

It has been digitally edited before being posted below, walhamdulillah.
