[2 Lectures] True Happiness is only through Tawheed - Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn

Here are 2 lectures by Abu Suhailah 'Umar Quinn (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that were found on YouTube. A brother initially reached out to me requesting if I could take part one of the recording, clean it up and repost it for people to benefit from. Which is what I initially did.

Then, someone else reached out to me and mentioned that there was a second lecture that accompanied it.  They gave me the link and I have now downloaded and edited it and have posted it below.

I thank Allah for the opportunity to bring this audio to you and then I thank all those involved in bringing these lectures to my attention so that they can be presented here for you to benefit from.
Lecture 1:
Lecture 2:
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Fear a Trial that Doesn't Just Affect the Wrongdoers - Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis

Many of us are affected with afflictions and wonder why?  Surely, the only people that should face trials and afflictions are those evil, wicked individuals that are out there, right?

In Surah al-Anfaal (8), Ayaah 25, Allah (subhanahu wa Ta'ala) says:

And fear a trial (of affliction) which does not affect (only) those who
have done wrong among you in particular. And know that Allāh is
                                           severe in punishment.

Zaynab bint Jaḥsh J said: “O Messenger of Allāh, will we perish whilst there are the righteous among us?” He said: “Yes, when evil (al-khabath) becomes abundant.” Related by al-Bukhārī (no. 3167) and Muslim (no. 2880). Al-Nawawī commented: “The meaning of the ḥadīth is that when evil increases then a general destruction can take place, even if there are righteous people (among them).” Sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (9/257).

Imām al-Qurṭubī (d. 671H) said: "The intent of the verse is: Fear the trial which goes beyond the oppressor [on account of whose deeds it befell], such that it afflicts both the righteous and the sinful.”

A Refutation of Blind-Following - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Listen to an excellent lecture by Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) where he addresses this very issue of blind-following any scholar, no matter who he may be.

This audio has been digitally remastered to remove a lot of its excessive background noise, walhamdulillah.

NOTE: The following question was asked to Ustadh Abu Khadeejah 'Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala):

“Why do the Salafīs say that it’s impermissible to blindly follow the Great Imāms such as Abu Hanīfah, Mālik, Ash-Shāfi’ī and Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, yet they blindly follow the scholars such as Ibn Bāz, Ibn Uthaymīn, Al-Albānī, etc?”
