While extracting a benefit that was previously posted, titled: So, You Missed the Rukoo'? Don't Just Stand There! I came across this benefit.
The scenario is as follows:
You go to the masjid to pray and the imam who is leading the prayer is praying seated due to some football injury. How do you follow him in the prayer? Do you pray seated like him or stand in those parts of the prayer that you would usually stand in?
In this benefit, Abul-'Abbaas Moosaa Richardson (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) explains what is to be done in detail. Plenty of benefits can be taken from this part of class 35 of the Umdat al-Ahkaam series delivered at al-Masjid al-Awwal on the 17th of Dhul-Qi'dah 1437.
Abu Hurairah (radiAllahu anhu) narrated that The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
