You Aren't a Traveller Until You have Left Your Town - Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid

A very important point with regards to when an individual is considered a traveller & as such is permitted to break his fast should he choose to do so whilst upon a journey.

If She is Divorced in a Non-Islamic Court, it is Valid! - Abdulilah Lahmami

The following benefit was extracted from the series titled: Biography of Prophet Muhammad recorded by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Markaz Muadh ibn Jabal in Slough. 

How many times have we heard that a brother has divorced his first wife in a non-Muslim courtroom so that he can marry above sister from outside the country & bring her in?  All this takes place whilst still continuing to live with her in the (ex) marital home.

How many times have we heard that in his efforts to take her back he has convinced her into believing that the divorce he gave her in a civil courtroom was never valid?  Then continues living with her as if they never got divorced at all in the first place.

Co-Operating with the Government Against the Khawaarij - Shaykh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree

The following question has been edited and individually extracted from a phone call between Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jabiree (rahimahullah Ta'ala) and Markaz Mu'aadh, Slough, titled: Q&A with Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jabiree (Slough 2005).

Is it allowed for the Salafis to co-operate with the British government in order to fight and wage war against some of the deviants, like the Khawaarij and what type of co-operation is allowed in this regard?

Studying Issues Related to the Subject of Mental Health - Mustafa George

Here is question that was addressed by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during the conference titled: Actions are the Fruits of Knowledge Seminar - Masjid Ash-Shura (October 2024).

The question asked was as follows:

We are living in an era where it is said that there are many cases of mental illness. Also, we have seen a rise in Muslims, especially women, entering in to career jobs with good intent to benefit others who struggle with such illness and/or disorders, such as the field of therapy,  psychology, mental health, coaching and psychiatry.  

The concern is regarding those amongst them who are not well-grounded in the basic foundations of the deen and what is necessary to distinguish between what is beneficial in those sciences and the likes.
