Sometimes, I find a benefit that is so proud that it leaves me speechless.

Here is one such benefit, extracted from the khutbah of Abu Hafsah Kashiff Khan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: Benefitting from Allah's Creation delivered on the 26th of May 2023 at Masjid Ahlul Quran wal Hadeeth.

It has been digitally edited before being posted below, walhamdulillah.

The Ulema (Scholars) - The Inheritors of the Prophets - Abdulilah Lahmami

The Ulema (Scholars) are the true inheritors of the Prophets.  What do they leave behind, they leave behind knowledge;

Abud-Dardaa (radiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) say: ‘Whoever treads a path due to which he seeks knowledge, Allaah will make him tread one of the paths towards Paradise. And the angels lower their wings out of contentment for the seeker of knowledge. And verily all those in the heavens and in the earth, even the fish in the depths of the sea ask forgiveness for the scholar. And verily, the virtue of the scholar over the worshipper is like the virtue of the moon on the night of Al-Badr over all of the stars. Indeed, the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets, for the prophets do not leave behind a dinar or a dirham for an inheritance, but rather, they leave behind knowledge. So whoever takes hold of it, has acquired a large share (i.e. of inheritance).’” [Reported by Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhee and Ibn Hibbaan, and this is the wording found in his collection, in abridged form. Al-Bukhaaree mentioned in his Saheeh Collection in his Book of Knowledge, Chapter: Knowledge precedes Speech and Action, the part from it: “The scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets.”

Here is a very concise reminder, in this very comprehensive lecture delivered by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) I took this audio from the SoundCloud account of Markaz Salafi Reading.

Dealing with the Reality of the Dunya! - Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali

Here is a lecture by Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta'ala) in which he talks about the reality of this dunya and the fact that it is a bridge to the Aakirah.  A place of examination.  Getting yourself ready to reap what you show in this dunya and the blameworthiness of being preoccupied with it.  It also looks at how the salaf would look at their time here.

A lecture that truly makes an individual reflect on various aspects of their life and how we view and interact with this world and whether or not it reflects how our salaf would look at this world and this life.

Without any further ado, here is this highly beneficial reminder for believers.

Seeking Knowledge in Times of Fitnah - Shaykh bin Baaz - Abdulilah Lahmami

Fitnah often occurs, and more so when one strives in the way of Allah.

Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) translates this advice of Shaykh bin Baaz (rahimahullah Ta'ala) to the student of knowledge, setting out specific guidelines on how an individual should behave when fitnah arises.  How they should react in the case of news and statements.

He also highlights how an individual should deal with his brothers and save himself from falling into the fitnah, to the point where it could lead to causing him to exit out of the religion.

This audio was posted on www.learnaboutislam.co.uk and is possibly more than 10 years old.  It has been taken from there and been digitally edited to improve its overall quality and is now being posted here.

Tahiyyat al-Masjid (Greeting the Masjid) - Some Principles - Fareed Abdullah

Here is a question that was raised after the first lecture from a seminar titled: The Masjid and Its Regulation in Islaam, delivered by Fareed Abdullah (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

"Tahiyyat al-Masjid" or the two rakahs you pray before sitting and coming to the Masjid. One of the questions that arises is, can these two be prayed at the forbidden time? And there is a discussion amongst the Ahlul-ilm concerning this. Is it allowed if you come, for example, in the Masjid, the sun is rising? Can you pray those two rakahs during that time? Or if the sun is directly over here? Or if the sun is setting? Or after you have prayed the Fajr prayer or after Salatul Asr once the sun gets pale? Can you pray "Tahiyyat al-Masjid" during those times?

Here is the detailed response that he (rahimahullah Ta'ala) gave to this question:
