Some Points of Parenting - Abu Adam Jameel Finch

Germantown Masjid have an ongoing monthly series of lectures with Abu Adam Jameel Finch (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: A Women's Guide to Raising a Family.

The lectures consist of three topics:
  • A woman guide to raising a family
  • Advice on polygny (having multiple wives)
  • Some points of parenting

At the time of this post, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) has delivered 12 lectures.   From these lectures I have extracted the points of parenting that have been addressed.  These are now being posted below, walhamdulillah.

What we Observed from the Methodology Adopted by Shaykh Rabee’ - Mustafa George

On Saturday, 18th of Muharram 1447 (corresponding with the 12th of July 2025) Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) delivered a lecture titled: Benefits from the Life and Teachings of Shaykh Rabi' bin Haadi al-Madkhali.  A lecture that contained many gems.

I will, in shaa Allah, release them soon.

For now, here is one that gives the listener an insight into the methodology adopted by Shaykh Rabee' (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

Making Tawbah - Hasan as-Somali

This is a part of the lecture delivered between Hasan as-Somali & Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahumullah Ta'ala) at Markaz us-Sunnah, Alperton and was posted on their official SoundCloud account.

The Importance of Following the Sunnah - Fareed Abdullah

I have loved the audios of Fareed Abdullah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) ever since I heard some of them several years ago.  At that time, I didn't really know much about editing audio.  As things have developed, so has my desire to present more of his audios to our brothers and sisters. 

Unfortunately, finding good quality audios of his (rahimahullah Ta'ala) can be very challenging. 

I found this audio on YouTube, in 4-parts, joining them together and editing its quality, to present it here.   The audio is incomplete.  Many of the audios in the early days used to be recorded on cassette tape that used to record for an average of 90 minutes.

Praying the 5 Daily Prayers in Congregation - Hasan as-Somali

Here is one that many of us fall short in.  This religion is one of self-reflection.  The best time for reflection is now, while you still have the opportunity.

Advice to the One Overcome with Watching Movies - Abdulilah Lahmami

On the 8th of April 2019 at Masjid bin Baaz, in London,  a lecture titled: Seeking Nearness to Allah was delivered by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  At the end of the lecture he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) took questions from those present. 

Here is one of those questions: What advice would you give someone who is overcome watching movies and the like and he does not read Qur'an much.  How does he overcome this?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave the following answer:
