One of the greatest fitan in the history of al-Islam is the fitnah that took place in the time of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rahimahullah Ta'ala).  The fitnah of the khalq al-Quran (Qu'ran being created).  Many great scholars lost their lives during these testing times.

Here a benefit from Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that he mentioned during a lecture about the life of Imam Ahmad during the Winter Conference of 2018 at Germantown Masjid.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

The following question was asked to Shaykh Arafat ibn Hasan al-Muhammadi (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) during a lecture titled: Love for the Sake of Allah.  The question and answer has been translated by Abu Ishaaq Nadeem Ahsan-Shah (hafidhahullah Ta'ala)

When advised, especially by one of the youth, do you put up your guard, for surely you know better than this "youth" who is correcting you, right?  

Then, you need to listen to this benefit that Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) brings regarding Imam al-Bukhari (rahimiahullah Ta'ala) in a lecture titled: The Biography of Imam Al-Bukhari and How He Dealt With Fitnah.

Swallow your pride, before it swallows you.  Humble yourself before you are forced to be humble.  You still have time!

This deen in introspective.  We need to check ourselves constantly to make sure that we are upon that which has been legislated.  Here is a lecture by Abu Uwais Abdullah Ali (rahimahullah Ta'ala) that reminds us of this extremely important matter so we can contemplate and reflect on our affairs.  A very important lecture that is a must-listen for us all, barak Allahu feekum!

This is a question I believe that was asked of Shaykh Saaleh al-Luhaydaan.(rahimahullah Ta'ala) at the end of a lesson from a series he delivered in Riyadh for the Westerns on the explanation of Kitab at-Tawheed.  This particular lesson was translated by Mustafa George (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).

One of the questions as related to the subject matter of black magic.  Here is the comprehensive advice that he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave on this subject matter.

Here is a benefit specifically aimed at our sisters, but also can be applied to our brothers.  We often seen this easy going attitude with regards to the affairs of the religion.  People not caring about who their companions are and where their knowledge is taken from, not caring about who their companions are or who the companion of their children are.

Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), in this lecture delivered at Masjid Bin Baaz, London, addresses an attitude that some would say, exists amongst some of our sisters, an easy going attitude, not caring about where the knowledge comes from. The lecture that this benefit was extracted from was delivered on the 14th of April 2015, at a time when the evils of ISIS were highly prevalent and young sisters were being groomed into going off to Syria under the guise of "true Islam".
