This is a principle from the principles of Salafiyyah that we follow!  We holdfast to it and are not prepared to compromise over it.

Know may Allah guide you in your affairs, we were upon this principle before we ever met you.  We were also upon this principle when we supported you, and all praise is due to Allah, we are still upon this principle today, after having abandoned you for the sake of Allah!

Whether you be Alee al-Halabi, Saleem al-Hilali, Yahya al-Hajuri, or anyone other than them, who came before or after in them within the timeline of our life.

At the end of a lecture delivered on the  22nd of October, 2024 at Markaz Mu'aadh, Slough by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) titled: Honouring and Respecting the Scholars, Elders and the People of Virtue, he was asked the following question:

Take accountability for your reality, by acknowledging the blessings of Allah upon you and also acknowledging your sins, that is what we need to do.  A timely reminder for us all, barak Allahu feekum!

A reminder about the person that we should love more than all those people that we following and show love to, from our friends, family and other than them.

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]
