The Ruling on a Bus Driver Shortening His Prayers - Abul-Hasan Malik al-Akhdar

The following is an audio that was posted on the Telegram Channel of Abul-Hasan Malik al-Akhdar (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), regarding the following:

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) stated: Recently, I was asked by a questioner about a driver who regularly takes passengers outside the city limits. Is this person considered a traveler, allowing them to shorten and combine their prayers, or are they considered a resident, requiring them to perform the four prayers at their designated times?

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) decided to respond with the answer that was given to a similar question by Shaykh al-Albaanee (rahimahullah Ta'ala).
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Praying Optional Prayers Before the Coming of the ّImam (Khateeb) - Abu Adam Jameel Finch

During the ongoing series of lectures delivered by Abu Adam Jameel Finch (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) based around the reading of al-Mulakhas al-Fiqhee by Shaykh al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), in the 43rd lecture he brings a point of benefit regarding those that come to the Jumu'ah prayer early, praying optional prayers until the arrival of the Imam (khateeb) to deliver his khutbah.

One of points quoted by Shaykh al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) is the following statement of Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah Ta'ala):

"It is more for a Muslim who goes early to the masjid for the Jumu'ah Prayer to perform voluntary prayers until the imām comes (to deliver the sermon). It is stated in a sahih (authentic) hadith that the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, '...Then he may perform prayer as much as (Allah has) willed for him..'" Moreover, the words of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) urge Muslims to perform voluntary prayers when they enter the masjid before the sermon on Friday, without determining a specific time (to do that). It is also narrated that the Companions used to perform voluntary prayers as much as they could when they entered the masjid before the sermon on Friday". It could happen that one of them perform ten, twelve or eight rakahs (units of prayer), and sometimes more or less than that. That is why the majority of scholars agree that there is no specific time or number for the voluntary prayer before the Jumu'ah Prayer and this voluntary prayer is considered a good deed, not a sunnah rātibah (a regularly-observed supererogatory prayer). Thus, according to the soundest view, a Muslim is not legally blamed whether or not he performs voluntary prayer before the Jumu'ah Prayer. However, if ignorant people believe that it is a sunnah rātibah, then, in this case, giving up this voluntary prayer will be better." [Majmú ul-Fatâwa (22/189-190)].

Here is that audio benefit:

Split From The Jamaa’ah & Take From "Reasonable Muslim" - Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis

No fancy image, just some plain and simple text to draw your attention to some very important points that need to be understood and implemented.

Listen very carefully to what Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) has to say in this benefit.  Remember O Muslim, O Salafi, this religion that you are following is built upon principles that have been legislated for you to follow.  It is not about you following your personal whims and desires.

Splitting from the people of Sunnah is not permissible, except with a valid, legislated excuse and even then you are obligated to overlook the shortcomings of your brothers for the greater good of the religion.

This benefit has been extracted from the lecture titled: The Command to Unite and the Inevitable Splitting, a lecture that we all need to listen to and take benefits from, barak Allahu feekum!
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever invites to guidance will be rewarded like those who follow him in the guidance are rewarded, and that will not decrease the reward of those who have followed him." [Collected by Imām Muslim]

Refutation of the Poem - "Qasidah Burdah" - Abdulilah Lahmami

This piece of audio was originally posted by Abdulilah Lahmami (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) on the Markaz Muaadh YouTube Channel on the 13th of June 2013.

It is a very important refutation that needs to be revived from time-to-time due to its refutation of this work full of Shirk al-Akbar (major polytheism).

It has been taken, digitally remastered & is being presented here, walhamdulilah.
