This is a timely reminder delivered as a khutbah by Hasan as-Somali (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) at Germantown Masjid.

Here is an extremely beneficial khutbah delivered by Abul-Hasan Malik (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) that deals with the importance of compatibility in Creed (Aqeedah) being a prerequisite of marriage. 

Unfortunately, it is impossible to determine the date of the khutbah but it was uploaded more than 10 years ago. 

So, you are looking to get married? What are the questions that you should be asking?

Should they be questions like: "Can you take care of my needs?" "How much money do you have in your account?" "How much money do you earn?" "Can you take care of my bills?"

Should you be looking for how well he is known in the community?

Or, should you be asking about his Deen?  

When asking about his religion should it be superficial questions such as does he drink alcohol, or does he get high?

Or, should you be asking about his Aqeedah, his Salah, and his understanding about the Branches of Tawheed.

He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) refutes the belief in multiple gods (polytheism) and proves that monotheism is the correct understanding of this affair.

The complete lecture is beneficial for da'wah to non-Muslims.

Recently in a WhatsApp conversation between myself and Abu Anas Muhammad (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) who is involved with the dawah effort in the form of salafi.mv (and has been praised by Shaykh's Ubayd al-Jaabiree & Abdullah al-Bukhaaree (hafidhahumullah Ta'ala) for permission on my website, specifically the audios related to the lectures and questions answered by Abu Khadeejah Abdul-Waahid.  Walhamdulillah, he (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) gave me permission to use the audio which can be found on their SoundCloud account.


One of the questions asked was as follows:

Please advise us with regards to taking pictures and the likes?

At the end of a lecture delivered at Markaz Mu'aadh in Slough, titled: Seven Obstacles in the Path of Seeking Knowledge some questions were asked to Uways at-Taweel (hafidhahullah Ta'ala).  

He was asked the following question (paraphrased) question:

Here I present is classic audio that has been translated by many of the du'at through the years and delivered through a lecture and sometimes a series of lectures due to its immense benefits. 

I found the original lecture delivered by Shaykh Rabee' ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) in a live tele-link, many, many years ago on an audio tape that was given to me by Abbas Abu Yahya (hafidhahullah Ta'ala), maybe about 8 years ago.

As per usual, the audio had to be cleaned up through digital remastering, walhamdulillah, the results are being presented to you here.

May Allah keep us sincere and enable us to fully understand and implement what we hear, Aameen.

The lecture was given to me several years ago in the form of 2 audio tapes by Abbas Abu Yahya (hafidahullah Ta'ala). These were converted to MP3 and, walhamdulilah, were then digitally cleaned up.  They are now being presented here for you to benefit from.

In this translated lecture our Shaykh Abdullah al-Bukhari (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) reminds the listeners about the importance of time in the life of the slave of Allah.  He (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) reminds us about the importance of utilising it in ways that bring us closer to our creator.  

May Allah reward our Shaykh (hafidhahullah Ta'ala) immensely for his valuable advice and his concern for the affairs of the believers, Aameen.
