The Excellence of the Qur'an - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

With Ramadaan only but a few weeks away, it is advisable to start making preparations for the purpose of gaining maximum benefit from the recitation of the Qur'an.  

Have we ever truly contemplated the value of the Book of Allah!  What value do these words of our creator hold in our hearts and minds?

Here is a timely reminder by the Noble Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) who was also known as the Muhaddith of Pakistan.  About whom Shaykh al-Albaanee (rahimahullah Ta'ala) said, there are 4 people, the like of whom had never met.  He mentioned Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) as one of them.

Take some time to listen to one of the great scholars of this era and contemplate over his words and the lessons that can be learned from them, especially before the commencement of the blessed month that is almost upon us.

Allah is Above the Heavens - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Many lectures that I have on tapes of Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) don't come with a title.  The title of this lecture was The Names & Attributes of Allah. Having listened to this lecture I have changed the title to Allah is Above the Heavens.

The Purpose of Slogans & Their Prohibition - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Muslims just like non-Muslims have slogans that they use to 'aid' their call to Islam.
  
A dictionary definition of a slogan could be the following: A short and striking or memorable phrase used in advertising.

An 'Islamic slogan' could be when Muslims shout the word 'takbeer' and those that hear this word will shout:  'Allahu Akbar'.

Listen to what Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) responded with when one such individual shouted such a slogan during one of his lectures during the lecture titled: The Islamic Ruling on Photography.

This is not the best quality recording, even after being remastered from two tapes to one, but it is possibly one of the best, if not the best Urdu lectures I have heard, in my life, on the subject of Tawheed, delivered by Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala).

The Virtues of Ramadaan - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Here is an excellent lecture by Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) on the virtues of the blessed month of Ramadaan.

Our Shaykh starts by reminding us about the purpose of our creation and then mentions the importance of Ramadaan and how we should strive to gain maximum benefit from its days.   An excellent reminder for all those able to understand Urdu.

The Correct Way of Giving Da'wah - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

There are many ways of giving da'wah, many people would have you believe.  All were happy with their understanding.  Only when you go back to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger upon the way of the Salaf-us-Saalih will you truly find the Correct Way of Giving Da'wah.

What is the Way of the Ahlul-Hadeeth? - Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah

Everyone claims to be a lover of Layla, but Layla doesn't give herself to everyone, as the poet said.

Everyone claims to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah, but when measured against the standard, they often fall short, especially in the times we are living in.

If you want to know the way of the Ahlul-Hadeeth, then let the Muhaddith of Pakistan, Shaykh Badee Uddin Shah (rahimahullah Ta'ala) answer that question for us all in a lecture that was delivered on the 30th of Ar-Rabee’ al-Aakhir 1413 (corresponding to with the 25th October 1992). There should no longer be any misunderstanding with regard to this affair.

Is it a group that bases their label for being that grouped upon the title that they give themselves or are they those that follow the Aqeedah & Manhaj of the Salaf, in all of their affairs?
